Staying at this hotel was a solid experience. the location was fantastic, being in Midtown allowed me to easily explore major attractions. the staff was top-notch, from the bell staff to the night shift crew. With shops nearby, I found everything I needed close by. the lobby served fantastic coffee, perfect for starting the day off right.

Some areas of the rooms felt outdated and could use some refreshing. Occasionally, noise from neighboring rooms could be a bit bothersome.

The Hotel Pennsylvania's location across from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden was incredibly convenient for exploring the city, with major landmarks like Bryant Park and the Empire State Building just a short distance away. The friendly staff added to the pleasant stay. However, the aging facilities and inconsistent air conditioning were notable downsides. While the relaxation facilities left something to be desired, the proximity to iconic landmarks helped create unforgettable family bonding moments during our stay. It's a reasonable option for budget-conscious travelers seeking prime location in New York City.

Pennsylvania's location is superb, right near Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. Additionally, it's conveniently close to Sbarro for delicious pizza, just a short walk away.

the total stay was great for holidays. we appreciated sitting in the restaurant for breakfast. the hotel had a brilliant location minutes from the ride.

Despite some maintenance issues and cleanliness concerns, the hotel's prime location in the heart of New York City allowed for easy access to a variety of attractions, shopping centers, and public transportation options. While the rooms may need a refresh and better upkeep, the convenience of the surrounding area and fast elevators were definite pluses during the stay.

Big size & fairly clean hotel, its location is fantastic short walk to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden and Empire State Building.

Stayed here for 4 days, liked the hotel, it was clean with incredible location down the street.

the hotel was clean - no bugs - good water pressure, and temperature. the location was super convenient - close to penn station metro - time square - empire state building, and within walking distance to many restaurants and stores. the staff was polite and housekeeping was attentive to our needs - giving us fresh towels and sheets whenever we asked.

The location of this place is spot-on, right near Madison Square Garden and the Penn Train Station, making it super convenient. The 'Newly Renovated' rooms are top-notch; we had to switch from a worn-down room to one on the twelfth floor, and it was like night and day. The staff, especially Maria B., was fantastic. 😊 The only bummer was the noisy lobby, but that didn't dampen the good vibes overall.

This was a very very good stay, the best prices. Food was fresh, room was amazing, truly enjoyed the clean bathroom. Every staff member was absolutely beautiful and courteous. Early check-in & great service. Also, it was close to a multi-purpose indoor arena.

We had a really good time in this lovely central hotel in New York City. The beds were comfy and the room was updated and huge. The location of venue was unbeatable, as near by subway. Plenty of food at the lovely and complementary breakfast.

The access to the nearby fitness club made it easy for us to stay active during our stay in NYC. The tour desk with ticket services at the hotel also allowed us to effortlessly book and plan our family outings to Madison Square Garden, where we enjoyed exciting basketball games and electrifying music concerts.

My wife says that having more family-friendly dining options within the hotel or nearby would have been helpful for families with children.

This place is my go-to in the city. Staff's help on my first stay stuck with me. It suits me perfectly - Wi-Fi, parking, 24-hour service, delicious food, exercise, and more. I keep coming back for my business trips.

This place is located in a prime spot, right on top of a subway station, so it's super convenient to explore the city. The hotel staff is very rude and does not provide good service could n't have been friendlier or more helpful. The room was spacious and had all the amenities I needed, including free toiletries and a flat-screen TV. The dining restaurant had a good selection of food and there was even coffee/tea available in the lobby. The staff here has a great attitude and gave good customer service.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The location of Pennsylvania was fantastic, right in front of MSG. the front desk girl was nice and kept her word on a quick check-in. Our room wasn't ready initially, but she said it would be in 30 minutes and it was. No bugs or rats, and the rooms were small but clean.

The spacious ADA guest rooms at Hotel Pennsylvania provided a lowered closet garment rod and shelf, offering worry-free comfort. The century-ago Gothic church "St. Patrick's Cathedral," Bryant Park, and Trump Tower within 2.5 km were a sight to behold, and the hotel's proximity to Macy's made shopping a breeze.

I found the decor at Hotel Pennsylvania to be very tired and the carpets were quite dirty, leaving a less-than-desirable impression.

I stayed at this hotel during a business summit and found the business center with computers and printers very convenient for my work. It helped me to quickly print out important documents and emails without any hassle, allowing me to stay productive during my stay.

One service that I missed for my work was a dedicated meeting room or conference facilities within the hotel for hosting client meetings and presentations.

The location was lit - we could easily walk to Madison Square Garden for epic games and concerts. Plus, access to the adjacent fitness club was clutch, we got swole and sorted out our night's entertainment with the tour desk. It was so dope!

The only thing we wished for was a cooler rooftop hangout spot at the hotel. It would've been sick to have a rooftop bar or party area for the young crowd like us.
